Logan the ripper strikes again!

Jack the ripper was credited with 11 brutal acts.  Logan the ripper is now up to two … well, at least two on the same victim.  Yes, the infamous “Days till Grandma & Grandpa Arrive” calendar has fallen prey to Logan’s destructive hands once again.  However, unlike Jack who masked his deeds in the dark, Logan proudly flaunts his handywork in broad daylight.

The crime took place shortly after noon.  Daddy was busy on the computer and Mommy and Sydney were chatting on the couch … and Logan, he was trying to determine the best use of his favorite talent — the ability to shred!  His keen little eyes locked onto the victim immediately as he rounded the corner to the kitchen.  The calendar was hanging on the dishwasher just at “ripper” level as if it had been placed there entirely for his pleasure.  Without hesitation, he indulged himself and once again produced the rrrrriiiiiiipppppp-ing sound that caused a smile of satisfaction to spread across his face, Mommy to jump off the couch and Daddy to bust into hysterical bouts of laughter.

The laughter got harder as Kristie rounded the corner with 2 halves of the calendar and a half dejected look.  Even though the calendar is now beginning to resemble something created by Dr. Frankenstein, Sydney and Mommy continue to mark off the days until Grandma & Grandpa arrive.  I just wonder if the calendar will make it till then.
